I
Personally speaking I would say that MCA - Master's in Computer Application is much much better than the M.SC course that you are talking about.
MCA is a full time 3 years post graduation course which can be taken up by any graduate or preferably BCA/BCS graduate. If you do your MCA course then it would mean that you have a full 5-6 years of academics after school.
This increases your market worth and so you would surely find it easier to get a job.
However if we talk about the M.Sc course, you have not mentioned which specialization you are talking about. Still I am considering the fact that its M.Sc in Computer Science that you are talking about. Hence since its a 2 years course and also not that well known, so it wouldn't be considered much when you would be applying for a job.
Always remember that BCA/BCS +MCA is a course which is at times considered equivalent to the B.Tech CSE. So its got somewhat equal values in the job market as well !
Master of Computer Applications
(MCA) is a three-year (six semesters) professional Master's Degree in
computer science awarded in India. The course was designed to meet the growing
demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology. It is
a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree.
The MCA programme is inclined more toward Application Development and thus has
more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and
faster applications.
